Up the drive

Here's a new original i wrote for songwriting class. It's an autobiographical song where there's no rhymes and describes a certain time in my life. I wrote this one about visting my old neighbour and old house in Toronto yesterday.
If you really wanna know how much this effected me, listen (:

(There are tons of mistakes in the recording but it already took forever so i just left it. here's the lyrics to what i was supposed to say)

"Up The Drive"
It's been 13 years since I've walked this ground
Mama told me so
The cold crisp air that hits my old face
does she remember?
I see her eyes blue as the sea and
hair as white as clouds
broken fraile but her smile still strong
she was beautiful
I look to my left then to my right
all of it's surreal
this house tht once was my home
has grown smaller every time
A dark young boy with greyish eyes
hair curly as can be
"darlin could we please come in?"
"darlin could we please come in?"

Ou- to breathe this one more time
to breathe this one more time
Ou- to see this one more time
to be here one more time

One step in, two steps in
i remember now
pictures of me come racing through
tears fill my eyes
was that fridge always that small?
was it really true?
was i really here again?
was i really here again?

Ou- to breathe this one more time
to breathe this one more time
Ou- to see this one more time
to be here one more time

Hey white railing i'll race you up the drive
