Today was good day. Not much happened, but I just felt happy

recollect

did a lot of cleaning today. vacuumed the house, cleaned up my room and gave myself the very long overdue haircut it needed. that's about it. missed the party.. kinda didnt feel like going anyways. i figured the trip there would be longer than my stay and i have work tomorrow morning so yeah, not worth it.

Had school then watched The Woman in Black with Anil, Leo and Princin

it was the first time i watched a movie in the cool higher end theatres so i was pretty impressed

the movie was good, not that scary just more suspenseful which i realized really pisses me off lol

then got a pizza and stayed at Anil's place

t'was fun

Lazy day

was supposed to go out for breakfast with josh but we both ended up waking up late

and super tired/ lazy so i watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind with Caerina

which i understand so much more now btw! and then went to work.

Josh picked me up from there and ate at spoon & fork to make up for our early tiredness 

that's about it.

Residency !

Had long talks with a couple classmates after class and ate dinner with em yesterday 

then went back down to Not My Dog with mae to pick up my uke that i forgot the other night 

and get our cut from the night. found out the owner of the place really liked our set

and wants us to host our own residency during the summer (:

soo excited! can't wait to perform more often again <3 ohh

then sang a couple songs for the open mic and made my way back home (:

Honcho poncho

barely had any sleep the other night. i am quite sleep deprived

and i feel as if i am only in the mood to record really late at night..

like typically1-4am, it's been happening a lot recently and it kinda works

cause i listen to the tracks the next morning in the studio and they dont sound bad..

could be better sometimes but not baaaad ;)

ps. sex talks with the rents are. not. fun.

Whistle

Happy birthday to one of my best friends, jayare araneta!! Hope you had a really great one! I'll see ya tomorrow if you remembered im coming over :P

Wasted most of my day sleeping, had work and the family was over.

Completely forgot I slightly whistled for the first time yesterday which made me really happy. Practiced while I was working today. I really wanna get this down and not sound like a dinky kettle when I "whistle" .. I'll get it though.. One day ;) 

Oh and I quite like my new little layout :)

I heart Soft Feet

Mama and papa came home from San Francisco last night. Learned that san Francisco is in California and that California is a state.. I always thought LA was the state. Whatever, im not American, there's my excuse for stupidity. Anyways, they showed me their pictures from their trip.. It was quite hilarious. My parents make quite the pair of tourists with their cheesy poses, maps and roots shirts.

oh! And showed my class a dry recording of dear dancer I recorded last night too and they loved it! I was so happy but im still not sure if I should use that song for the cd cause I really wanted a plait song to be in the final cd =/ ahh we'll see..

Josh came over wednesday night again. cooked, watched 300 and basically just chilled

Orientation for IMP was this morning. Volunteered for that then stayed at home for the most part. Tried to work on my songs.. Couldn't. Then went for coffee with josh and we watched random stuff with my sisters

Those kinda days

Filled with not much excitement. Slept in, made myself food, did nothing, went to work, worked part time at teaopia lol Jamie made me mop her store for free tea which she would've given to me anyways but I didnt mind. Then she drove me home and now im hoping I get to record something tonight. Got a another album.. Best of a tribe called quest for $5 Woo! :)

Tattoos on this town

Another long day of school. Collab class was great, everyones songs turned out amazing. Can't wait to collab with everyone else! Also sang a few songs for the little open mic they had at the lounge. That's basically it.

Dont mind if I do

Long day at school. Then josh picked me up and we hung out at his place, went for sushi and got secret driving lessons. It was nice :)

had work, then went with the sisters and melvin to value village and chapters

havent been there in months.. thought i could control myself..

kinda didnt -__- but! better than usual and only bought one piece of clothing!

soo not bad. and picked up a few books.. i miss reading.

school, then work. 

gonna go be a chick now and watch shakespeare in love with the little one

day off

first day off from school, work and anything i normally do in a while. had 11 hrs of sleep. woke up at 2, ate, went to school to pick up mics and met up with the birthday boy, Anil! had lunch/dinner with him at a mexican place then went to the mall to pick up some things for my room. ended buying an easel for my sister cause the only art store in the mall is closing ): what was originally $149 i got for $47 it was a paaaain to bring home though. i felt so awkward being a small girl carrying a huge ass easel on the bus, huge bags from DeSerres and Dollarama, two mics and a bag. a complete workout. now im too tired to do anything. hopefully showering now will wake me up. gonna do some stuff for school, decorate the cork boards i finally put up aaaand hopefully wont be too lazy to record or else going to school today would've been half pointless. gonna wake up early to workout tomorrow.. after today's trip home experience, 4 weeks of being inactive has me realizing how out of shape i am. hopefully i'll be able to get back to working out the way i did before the christmas break :/ leeeggooo!
